- Developed dynamic websites for clients (back-end as well as front-end), using standards-compliant HTML 4.01/XHTML 1.0, PHP 3.x/4.x, and Perl 5.x. Some projects involved the use of Java/JDBC, C/C++, and XML on the back-end, and Javascript (and a variety of DHTML implementations) on the front-end.
- Co-wrote Practical PostgreSQL, published by O'Reilly & Associates (2002), and maintained the on-line version (with Swish-based FTI searchable index).
- Maintained several client databases (PostgreSQL 6.5-7.3, and MySQL 3/4).
- Developed custom shopping cart e-commerce solutions for Extreme Networks, OpenDocs Publishing, LLC, and TheLinuxReview for Command Prompt, Inc.
- Taught (informally) intermediate and advanced SQL and PHP concepts to Centennial School District's IT administrator.
- Administrated several RedHat Linux Systems. Duties included Apache Web Server 1.3.x/2.0.x configuration, Sendmail configuration, general security updates, user management, and client-specific software updates/patches.
- Maintained the MacOS X Distribution of the Mammoth PostgreSQL database.
- Developed custom tag-based web programming language from scratch (LXP) in C++ for Command Prompt, Inc., and integrated PHP support into LXP.
- Wrote hundreds of tutorials for (the now defunct) LearnLots.com on Apache, DB/2, Sybase, and PostgreSQL.
