SCI-FI - The Listeners
The Listeners
Posted October 20th, 2007
"The Listeners" was drawn in an 18-hour window purely on the networking site Facebook, via Graffiti, a Flash-based web drawing applet. It's a 24-Hour (Face/Comic) Book.

With Graffiti, each image is independently replayable. You can see every stroke used to make every drawing. As such, there is an extra layer of Easter Eggs.

The Replays are a cross between invisible ink, alt text, and director commentary. Things are written and then covered up, written and unwritten, notes about the story, notes about who is who and what is what, notes about what music was playing at the time of the drawing, and occasionally tiny bits of subtext that are part of the story but not visible in the final frame.

A Facebook Login is required to watch the Replays, but the static final frames are visible to anyone.
